1. What are the WJU Blogs?
The WJU blogs are fully-customizable, self-managed websites specific to a single department or individual. You may publish articles, post news announcements, upload images and otherwise communicate with your constituents and the general public.
2. How often is my blog updated?
As often as you’d like! You may log on and publish content at any time.
3. Can I customize my blog?
Yes, absolutely. We have developed four basic templates for you to use. After choosing your template, you may add a custom image to the top of your blog pages. A variety of widgets are available for further customization.
4. How do I… (Publish a post, choose a template, add widgets, etc.)
Many excellent articles are available to assist you with using your blog. Your blog is built on a well-established system called Wordpress MU. For new users, we recommend these resources:

5. How do I sign up?
The WJU Academic Department has identified the individuals and departments receiving blogs during this phase of website construction. Requests for blogs should be communicated to Academics.
If you are already signed up, check your e-mail for a message with your username and password. Follow the link provided by e-mail to access your blog.
6. I am a department blog administrator. How do I allow other instructors to use the blog?
After logging in to your blog, click “Users” on the top-right. Under the section titled “Add user from community”, enter the official e-mail address of your desired contributor and choose the appropriate role. Keep in mind that only Authors, Editors, and Administrators are able to publish new content.
If you receive a message saying “User not found”, contact IT to have this user added to the Wordpress system. Once the user’s account has been created, you may add them to your blog.
